Three Sisters Bar and Hotel by Katherine Govier

Posted by Marilyn Thiessen

A fascinating look at the early 1900's in the Canadian Rockies, the building of the railway and the throngs of people that come to populate the area.

Govier has created some colorful characters that are a believable part of history.  Bravery is paramount as adventurers brave the elements and the treacherous conditions to go on trail-blazing expeditions.  The outcomes of such adventure was not always favorable.

This book will change the way I will look at the "Three Sisters" my next trip to the Rockies.

Highly recommended.
